The Baptist Theological College, T Chikri, Pfütsero, under Phek district, hosted the 97th Convocation of the Senate of Serampore College (University) on November 22. The historic event commenced with the Commemoration Service, honoring the legacy of the Serampore Trio—William Carey, Marshman, and William Ward—who founded Serampore College in 1818, India’s first theological institution. Following the Commemoration Service, the Convocation Ceremony was held, during which degrees and diplomas for various programs were conferred upon the graduates present.
